The Google Play Store will introduce a new magic button without touching the phone, users will be able to remove apps

Google has added a new feature to its Play Store app, allowing users to delete apps installed on their other Android devices without touching the phone. This feature is named “Remote Uninstall“.

New change in the latest version, 38.8, of the Google Play Store. Users can see Google’s new remote uninstall option on the Play Store.

The company will add a new option to the Google Play Store. With the help of this option, apps installed on other Android devices can also be deleted.

If you use Google Play Store to install apps on your phone, you should also know about this new update. Very soon, the way of deleting apps is going to change. The company will add a new option to the Google Play Store. With the help of this option, apps installed on other Android devices can also be deleted.

Users need to open the Play Store app on their primary Android device to use the remote uninstall feature. Then, they need to go to the “Installed Apps” tab. There, they can find the app they want to delete. Next to the app, a new “Remote Uninstall” button will appear. By clicking this button, the app will be deleted from the device where it is installed.

The remote uninstall feature can be helpful in many ways. For example, if you have an old Android device that you no longer use, you can use this feature to delete apps from that device. Additionally, if you are gifting your device to a friend or family member, you can use this feature to delete apps from that device.

The remote uninstall feature is still under development but has been introduced in the latest version, 38.8, of the Play Store. This feature may not work on all Android devices, but it will work on Android 12 or later.

Connected devices will be visible in the Play Store

With the new feature enabled, the name of the other device and the list of apps installed on it can be seen in the Manage Apps section of the Play Store. If you uninstall any app from this list by tapping it, it will be deleted from the other device.

When will the new feature be rolled out?

At present, only this much information has been revealed regarding this feature. It has yet to be made clear when Google will introduce the feature.

The remote uninstall feature is a helpful feature that can make the job easier for Android users. This feature can be handy for users who have multiple Android devices.​
