On Tuesday, Motorola released the Edge 50 Ultra and Edge 50 Fusion worldwide. The phones have screens and cameras that have been verified by Pantone in addition to Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets. Although the Fusion model has two back cameras, the Ultra model has three rear cameras. The Motorola Edge 50 Pro, a smartphone that was just released in India, was showcased alongside these variants. The Edge 50 Pro, which comes with an 8GB + 256GB variant priced at Rs. 31,999 in India, is equipped with a 50-megapixel triple back camera unit, a 68W charger, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.

The beginning price of the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is EUR 999, or about Rs. 88,900, whilst the Edge 50 Fusion is priced at EUR 399, or approximately Rs. 35,900. Over the next few weeks, the phones will be available for purchase in a few locations throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America, and Oceania. Motorola has not yet disclosed its intentions to introduce these two phones in India.
The top-tier Motorola Edge 50 Ultra comes in three Nordic Wood patterns and two vegan leather finish options: Forest Grey and Peach Fuzz. Conversely, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is offered in two color options: a Forest Blue version with a Poly(methyl methacrylate, or PMMA) finish, and Hot Pink and Marshmallow Blue colorways with vegan leather backs.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,220 x 2,712 pixels) pOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, a maximum brightness level of 2,500 nits, and a screen-to-body ratio of 93.8 percent. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, which can support up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage, powers the device. It also comes with Hello UI, which is based on Android 14.
The Edge 50 Ultra’s optics consist of a 64-megapixel telephoto shooter with up to 3x optical zoom, a 50-megapixel secondary sensor combined with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel primary rear sensor with support for optical image stabilization (OIS). The front-facing camera has a 50-megapixel sensor.
The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra variant has a 4,500mAh battery that supports 50W wireless and 125W wired rapid charging. Dual 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, NavIC, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and USB Type-C connectivity are also supported by the phone. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 CPU with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage is included with the phone.
